On April 8th, 2024, Northeast Ohio will be the epicenter of one
of nature’s most amazing events, a total solar eclipse! This
occurs when the moon, sun and earth all align perfectly, casting
a shadow over a portion of Earth’s surface that completely

SAFETY is the #1 priority when viewing a solar eclipse.
Remember, do NOT look directly at the sun through binoculars,
telescopes, cameras or with your own eyes. ALWAYS use an
approved solar filter or specifically made solar viewing glasses
when observing the sun. Be safe and enjoy this amazing event!

2024! CAS recommends getting to your preferred viewing
location EARLY as many roads and municipalities in Northeast
Ohio will have parking and driving restrictions during this time.
